Holy Week
Sat 30 Mar 2024This week we remembered the events that led up to the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus. Our Foundation Stage children began with Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. Years 1 & 2 told us about Jesus’ Last Supper with his apostles. Years 3 & 4 continued the story with the Garden of Gethsemane and Years 5 & 6 completed the week with the trial and crucifixion. The children presented a very moving account, ending with the Resurrection.

Easter Competitions
Tue 26 Mar 2024We had some fabulous Easter hats from Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and some absolutely amazing egg creations and Easter gardens from KS2. Thank you to parents and carers for your support with this.

World Book Day
Fri 08 Mar 2024Our children looked absolutely amazing on World Book Day! There were also some fabulous wooden spoon book characters and brilliant ‘ book in a box’ creations. Thank you to parents & carers for supporting this event.

Queen Elizabeth II
Sun 11 Sep 2022We gathered around the flagpole to remember the life of Queen Elizabeth II. We said some prayers and raised the flag to half-mast to honour this special lady.

St.Gilbert’s Got Talent!
Fri 15 Jul 2022What a lot of talent we have at St.Gilbert’s! Singing, dancing, gymnastics, piano, guitar, flute, French horn, Jiu Jitsu, origami, skipping, joke-telling, a Rubik’s cube expert and weight-lifting! Thank you Mr. Martin for compèring this afternoon of entertainment. Well done to all our finalists and especially our winners.
