Please read the story of the Ascension below to find out more about when Jesus told his disciples that he was going back to heaven to see his Father.

Maths

Lessons 1, 2 and 3 are about position and direction. Ask your child to make half turns, quarter turns and a whole turn to help them understand this concept.  You can also draw shapes and pictures and cut them out for your child to physically move which often helps them to visualise the new position and direction.

Lesson 4 is working with numbers 0-50. The children can use a number line or a hundred square to help them.

Lesson 5 is partitioning numbers. This is where we part a number into tens and ones to show the children have a good understanding of place value.

Science

Choose two different types of weather and then draw suitable clothes for the person to wear.

Geography

Create a fact page about a cold part of the world. Read some of the facts on the information sheet provided and then do some of your own research to find out more.
