Year 6M

Welcome to Year 6M!

Hello from Mr Martin.  We love learning in class AND want it to continue outside the classroom at home too. Which is why we want you to do the following:

Read every night and have your parent sign your Reading Record.

Spellings practice every night (make sure you can read them and you copy them correctly)

English home learning every week will focus on an area of grammar we have been learning in class that week.

Maths home learning every week will focus on an area of maths we have been learning in class that week.

Home learning is given out every Friday and must be handed in on Tuesday.

P.E. is every Thursday afternoon and P.E. kits should be in school on the first day of each term.

I am always available to speak to before and after school if you have any questions.

Many thanks

Mr Martin

World Poetry Day!

There was only one poet for us to look at today - John Cooper Clarke!
We have written and performed our own version of I Wanna Be Yours.
We hope you like it and hope that Mr Clarke approves!

Shakespeare Week

We have been reciting Shakespeare from “The Scottish Play” today. We played the three Witches (or Weird Sisters).

Even myself and Mr Finch got stuck in!

We were practising using good tone, intonation and volume in our voices.
