Geography

This week I would like you to answer some questions using a world map. There is also a worksheet which tells you all about animals that live in hot and cold places in the world. This will help you answer some of the questions.

At the top of Earth is the North Pole and at the bottom is the South Pole. There is an invisable line that runs around the Earth which is called the Equator. This is half way between the North and South Pole. Countries close to the Equator have the warmest weather and countries furthest away have the coldest weather.
