Week 2 - 11 Jan (Fractions)

This week we will be starting our Fractions unit of learning, beginning with Equivalent Fractions, how to Simplify Fractions, how to convert Improper Fractions to Mixed Numbers, then how to convert Mixed Numbers to Improper Fractions and then Fractions on a number line.

Some of these areas of learning will revisit topics that you should have learned in Year 5. We have also briefly covered this areas in class already this year, but not in great detail. Therefore, some of the learning this week is a recap and some of it is new learning.

If you struggle with anything, as with last week, always go back to the White Rose videos and listen and watch the explanations again. If you still struggle after doing this, please post a comment for me on the blog or have your parent email me and I will try to help further.
