Spring 2 LS Lowry

LS Lowry

The competition this half term is to create your own version of an LS Lowry painting. You can choose to copy one of LS Lowry's original artworks or you can choose to create your own version - perhaps with St Gilbert's in the background! You can use any medium you choose (paint, pens, felt tips, pencils, collage etc.) but your artwork should be in the style of LS Lowry. I have included some pictures of LS Lowry's work at the bottom of the page for you to use as inspiration if you wish.

The deadline for the competition is Thursday 6th April but you can bring your artwork in from Friday 31st March. Remember to write your name and class on the back of your work. 

If you would like to take part in the competition but do not have the resources at home, I will be offering Monday lunchtimes (27th Feb, 6th March, 13th March, 20th March and 27th March) for you to come to my class and use the school resources to create your artwork.

One winner will be chosen between each key stage (EYFS, KS1, Lower KS2 and upper KS2). 

I am really looking forward to seeing the art that you produce!
