Week 5 (Four Operations)

This week will continue with our Four Operations block of maths learning. Last week we learned about adding and subtracting, particularly with 4-digit numbers. We are building on our knowledge of place value from the first two weeks of term and learning about the relationship between the four operations.

This week we will learn how to solve mathematical problems using the addition and subtraction skills from last week. Then we will move on to multiplication, which we have been practicing in class since the beginning of the year.
