Heatwave in school
Dear Parents and Carers,
As you may be aware we are due to experience some very high temperatures in the next couple of days. As per our newsletter,
Please ensure that your child has
- long lasting suncream applied
- a sun hat
- a water bottle - that can be refilled easily.
Children do not need to wear ties, jumpers or blazers.
We will be taking any breaks in the shade and ventilating our classrooms accordingly. We have some air conditioned rooms that the classes can use and we can also spread out in the hall.
There will be no running at playtime, or any form of vigorous physical exercise and Rounders Club has already been cancelled.

We will be doing our best to stay as cool as possible, hydrated and safe in school.
