Reminders
PE - Tuesdays. Please ensure you have indoor and outdoor kit in school. Swimming is on Wednesdays. Please remember your hat.
Homework - This is given out on Fridays and due in on Tuesdays. It is always lovely to see any extra work completed at home. Please do bring it in to show the class.
Reading - Please read for 15 mins every night. Complete your reading record. Books are changed on Mondays and Thursdays
Spellings - Practise these every night on your sheet
Remember your water bottle every day
Healthy snack ideas for playtime - fruit, vegetables, cereal bar, breadsticks
Look out for important notices on the classroom window
Live Kitchen - Ensure your child's meal selections are completed online
If your child is absent school please let the school office know every day.
We want you child to be happy in school and ready to learn.
If you have any concerns please don't hesitate talk to Miss French (Class teacher) or Mrs Costello (TA) after school. Alternatively write a note in your child's reading record book.

Rivers Trip - 22/03/19
We had a great time in Crowden! All the children were focussed and enjoyed all the activities. We learnt a lot about rivers.
We walked in the river, looked for river wildlife, took measurements of the river, looked at the source of the river, found landmarks, made our own rivers in a jar, studied the course of a river and much more!

acted out scenes
hot seated the main characters
freeze framed certain scenes
taken part in conscience alley
completed character work on Antony and Cleopatra
and finally...... drawn the man himself...... William Shakespeare!
