Year 5

Year 5 timetable

RE . Year 5 and 6 finished the story of Holy Week by performing a great assembly on the Crucifixion and the Resurrection .

Forest School

This was our last week at Forest School. The children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Forest School and will certainly miss it.

We enjoyed making pieces of art with natural materials.

Group 3 had to contend with a very wet and soggy first week at Forest School, despite the weather they had lots of fun!

We cooked pancakes, pizzas and toasted marshmallows on the fire during our last session at Forest School.

We had lots of fun in the snow this week!

The children used natural materials to make a Christmas decoration. 

The children explored the mud kitchen and enjoyed climbing trees.

Group 2 have been playing lots of games over the past few weeks. They had to listen carefully and trust one another. 

Group 2 enjoyed their first week at Forest School, even if we had torrential rain! The children made name badges, did a spot of bird watching and explored the surroundings.

 

 

Group 1 have had a great time at Forest School over the last 6 weeks. They have enjoyed climbing trees, playing hide and seek, den building, carving and toasting marshmallows!

Sportshall Competition

 

Year 5 had a great morning at Eccles College, taking part in the Sportshall Competition. You all gave 100% effort and were true ambassadors for our school. Well done on coming second in the competition!

Forest School

 

We had lots of fun this week at Forest School, exploring the surroundings and taking part in teambuilding games. We are already looking forward to next week! 

We had fun building dens this week.
