Year 3 had the pleasure of listening to Year 6 read to us this afternoon, thank you boys and girls!

Today we mummified tomatoes! 

Ask your children how this helped us remember the Ancient Egyptian mummification process!

Today we explored different rocks in Science and looked at their characteristics. 

A big thank you to all our lovely families for bringing in different Egyptian artefacts to display in our classroom!

European Languages day!

 

Year 3 have had an exciting day learning all about the different languages all over world. we have had fun dressing up and everyone looked amazing. Brilliant effort, well done!

More Fun!

 

We have some very brave children who helped our class change the chorus of Let It Go, to different languages! Polish, Welsh, Spanish, French and English. Super work!

Thursday 12th September 2019

 

This term we are studying the Stone Age and are currently reading the 'Stone Age boy'. Today we thought about how the main character would have been feeling throughout the story and we used a thought tunnel to discuss our different thoughts. 

 

Monday 7th September 2019

 

What a fantastic day we have had with our special visitor, Chris Lubbe. We have heard all about the segregation in South Africa and in class we experienced, through drama, how those who weren't white may have felt in these situations.
