Day 4 (Edit story)

Today we will be reading out our stories to each other and seeking helpful and positive feedback. We will want to know what is good about our writing and what things can be improved before we submit our final version.

We will ask:

Does our story meet the criteria for a Black Lives Matter story?
Is it original?

Is the plot good?

Is there good use of language?

Is it an enjoyable read?

First check for any errors with grammar and punctuation (see the Powerpoint below). Then we will see if we can improve any words, sentences or phrases - using the editing station guidance below.
