Descriptive Writing

Take a bird's eye look at this typical Anglo Saxon village. Click on the village and find out what kind of people live in this village. What was their trade (job) or craft?

Write a descriptive story using fantastic adjectives ( descriptive words ) and good sentence starters of what you can see as you make your way through the village. Have fun !

My Descriptive Setting Story of Anglo-Saxon

The gloomy sunless sky hung over the small village as I scrolled around the untidy area. I decided to run to the huge great hall. Inside it was a massive oak wooden table with lines that looked as if an animal had scratched at it. It was dark and the smoke fumes tickled my cold nose.
