- Share story books and talk about what is happening on each page (check out https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/books/free-ebooks/ for free phonics books online)
- Sign up for a free trial at https://www.vooks.com/
- Play lotto games - matching pictures (e.g. matching baby animals to their adults etc.) Plenty of these games can be found on Twinkl.co.uk which has free access at the moment.
- Complete the weekly phonic lessons (see each week to find out the phonic sound)
- Read words on labels and food packaging
- Sing nursery rhymes and songs (you can find these on YouTube and at www.twinkl.co.uk)
- Practise writing your name (first name and surname)
- Complete simple handwriting practise
- Have a spelling test with that week's phonic sound.
- Try to write some simple sentences using CVC words
- Write some harder sentences about your experiences
