Welcome to Year 6M
Hello from Mr Martin. We love learning in class AND want it to continue outside the classroom at home too. Which is why we want you to do the following:
Read every night and have your parent or carer sign your Reading Record.
Spellings practice every night (make sure you can read them AND know how to use them in a sentence correctly and check the meaning in a dictionary if you are unsure).
English home learning every week will focus on an area of grammar we have been learning in class that week.
Maths home learning will focus on an area of Maths we have been learning in class that week. (Also practice your time tables on TT Rockstars - always try to improve your speed and score!)
Home Learning is given out every FRIDAY and must be handed in on TUESDAY
P.E. is every Wednesday afternoon and is also on a Thursday afternoon for the first Autumn half term (the children will be learning gymnastics).
I'm always available to speak to before and after school if you have any questions.
