Our new ‘Computing’ topic is called ‘Making Music.’ You have been set a ‘to do’ task on Purple Mash.

Can you make a simple pattern of sound by choosing instruments from the bottom and dragging them into the boxes? When you have filled the first line, press the green arrow to hear your tune. The purple slider controls how fast or slow your tune will be played.

Then try taking out some of the instruments from your pattern and listen to how it sounds now. You can add more instruments to the second line to add more sounds to your tune. Have fun! Remember to save your work.

In History we are going to be looking at some explorers, starting with Christopher Columbus. Read the powerpoint then try the task.
