Homework - Summer Half Term (19 May 2023)

In addition to the Public Speaking Competition that your child will need to prepare for next term (see letter from Mrs Killeen on website dated 18 May 2023)

Letter from Mrs Killeen (18 May 2023) they will also need to prepare for their end of year production.

They have all come home with a script and a lyrics booklet and have two things to do for homework over the half term.

1. To practice the lines for their part in the play, which they have highlighted in their copy of their script. (They will need to know their lines off by heart by the time of the performance in the first week of July).

2. To know the songs below, off by heart.

Please help your child learn their lines and play the songs below as much as possible so that they know them well before they get back to school.

RINGING OSPREY CHICKS

As we have been reading Sky Hawk by Gill Lewis this term, I thought this video about osprey chicks would be interesting to watch.
This year ospreys bred at RSPB Scotland's Loch Garten Nature Centre for the first time in five years. Join the team as they ring the chicks and explain the important data that comes from being able to track the birds.
