Week 3 (Grammar Practice - Sentences)

This week we will be reviewing what you know and learning more about sentences and how we can develop sentences with different types of clauses. We have practice some of these writing strategies in class during our writing sessions, when we want to add more detail to our sentences. During this week I will ask you to also practice some sentence writing work in addition to the Oak National Academy learning.

Your learning will include the following:

• Simple and compound sentences
• Complex sentences
• Relative clauses
• Fronted adverbials
• Non-finite subordinate clauses

Please continue to complete the learning and writing in your English Homework books and send me photos of your learning.

I hope to have Google Classrooms up and running this week and you will then be able to submit written work on this online platform.
