Week 2 (Feelings)
Today we will learn about what the phrase 'A penny for your thoughts' is all about and about negative or unhelpful thoughts.
You could use the activities as an opportunity to talk with a grown up about any negative thoughts and about how they can impact on you and others around you.
We will try to use different strategies to help deal with the unhelpful thoughts to help you feel better about things.
We will try to learn about having a positive attitude about things - we have talked about this in class when you may have heard me talk about feeling the 'glass is half full' rather than 'half empty' or optimistic rather than pessimistic.
Do try to talk to a grown up at home.
