Literacy
Thinking about the work you have done so far on verbs can you think what a powerful verb might be? Watch the PowerPoint to find out and then complete just one of the pages of the worksheet attached. Choose the story you like the best. I like Goldilocks so I would choose the first story. If you find this too tricky just choose 5 of the powerful verbs from any list, put them into a sentence and underline the powerful verb.
History
Do you remember the work you did at home last week when you used your senses to describe the Great Fire of London? Today I want you to look carefully at the sequencing cards and read the information on them. Now try your best to put the cards in the correct order to tell a story. It will make you sound very knowledgeable if you read your work to a member of your family and tell them all about the Great Fire of London of 1666.
