Sports Day

Fun with Technola!

We were very lucky to welcome Technola into our classroom, Mr Robinson showed us how to use the iPads to make environments for different woodland creatures to live in. He showed us how to collect food for them and how to take anphoto of them. We all had a really fun time and at the end of the lesson he showed us some little robots that flash and can move around on the floor.

Making camping snacks-s’mores!

We’re going on a bear hunt!

We had great fun doing our ‘Write Dance’ to the story ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ by Michael Rosen.
(See the video resource centre for the dance video.) Write Dance links movement, music, art and writing. This helps to develop children’s understanding of the movements and patterns needed for effective handwriting.

Red Nose Day

British Science Week

We had some fun to celebrate British Science Week. We watched the colours run from skittles and we dipped washing up liquid fingers into coloured milk to see the colours rush away. Then we made a bubbling volcano!

Monday 8th March

Today we welcomed back all of our reception children and it was wonderful to see them all. They have had a great day playing and learning with their friends. This afternoon we had lots of fun activities on offer to promote positive wellbeing, here are a few pictures to show what the children enjoyed doing.
