Hello Year 2. How are you all ? Did you all sleep well ? It is really important to go to sleep at the right time so our bodies stay healthy and we feel happy. Today you will be doing Numeracy, Literacy and History.  As always do what you can and please don’t worry if you can’t do all of it. Take care.

Literacy. Finding adjectives. Most children will complete the sheet with 2 stars at the bottom. If you need a bit more help complete the sheet with 1 star. If you want a challenge try the sheet with 3 stars. 

History.

Do you remember all the work we have already done about the Great Fire of London and Samuel Pepys? Can you remember the date and year the fire started? Today I want you to use your senses to write what you can see ,hear, smell and how it makes you feel. I bet you will have loads to write so you might find it easier to do it on a piece of paper. Remember that powerful language we spoke about. We are such good writers in Year 2 we can describe the powerful flames leaping like fire from a dragon’s mouth or the petrified faces of the people trying to escape.  Make it interesting !
