London
French
Year 6S have loved learning how to say where they are looking for something in French. Here is a clip of them singing about the different places they are looking for Vincent the pirate
Gymnastics
Well done Year 6S, you all worked so hard during your gymnastics lesson. You created some brilliant sequences with your partners and were all able to show symmetrical, A- symmetrical, inverted and counter balance moves. Miss Seddon and Mrs Gilmore were very impressed how you peer couched each other whilst watching back your routines. Super work!!
Votes are in!!!! Congratulations to our new Student councilors representing Y6S!
Y6S- School council election
Well done to all the children who put themselves forward to be part of the school council. You all prepared wonderful manifestos to persuade your class members to vote for you! All children in Y6S signed up to the school electoral register in order to vote. After this they were all given polling cards and visited the polling booth to place their vote in secret. The polling counters then had a very important job to ensure all the votes were counted correctly.
Caritas in Action
In class we have been debating whether it is money or people that make a difference to the world. The children had lots of very interesting and thought-provoking ideas on this matter.
