On Sunday, many of our staff, parents  and pupils gathered to celebrate Mass together. We also congratulated Year 4 as they received their certificates for the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

A lovely way to end the half term, thank you to all of our school community that shared this special Mass with us .

Harvest Mass

Today, Year 1 and 2 led our Harvest Mass with Father Martin. We thanked God for the people that farm our food and the crops we gather.  We thought about others who are poor and vulnerable and as families, we have provided food for them to eat. We have donated our Harvest donations to Loaves and Fishes charity- we know it will make a big difference to those in need. Thank you to all of the families that have helped us make a difference this year.

05.10.26

Today we listened to the Gospel, read by Mrs Hermitt, it was all about showing respect to others. We watched our friends act out some examples and thought about what they should have done. We are thinking about St Francis of Assisi as we go forth and put our faith into action this week.

Our new Nursery are great prayer leaders, they are helping their friends to make the sign of the cross.

Actions Speak Louder than Words

Today's Gospel, read by Miss Seddon, made us think about our actions and how we will go forth showing kindness and positivity to others this week.

24.09.26

Today Fr Martin commissioned the new members of our GIFT team and our Mini Vinnies. It was a nice way to celebrate the start of their new faith journey together.

Some of our existing GIFT team members read bidding prayers as an example of what it means to have such an important role in our school.

Our Mini Vinnies worked together to design artwork and decorate a pebble to share with our feeder high school, St Patrick's. They decided to link both of our school logo's and enjoyed working together as a team. Mrs Tydlesley presented it to them on their behalf. Well done Mini Vinnies!

This morning, our GIFT team led part of our assembly. They wanted to help us celebrate Education Day as a school. All members presented members of staff with a thank you card they had made- what a lovely gesture! Thank you.
