Welcome

Welcome to St Gilbert's R.C. Primary School.

Inspired by St Gilbert, as God’s family, we are growing strong in love and faith, becoming the best we can be.

At St Gilbert’s, our Catholic identity is lived joyfully and visibly each day. Our Gospel Values — Resilience, Faith, Courage, Compassion, Forgiveness and Fullness of Life — created with dedication and theological thought by our children, shape our relationships, our curriculum and our aspirations. These values are woven through our worship, our behaviour system, our new house groups inspired by strong women of the Bible, and the way pupils understand Jesus as their role model. Every child is recognised as unique, loved by God and called to flourish academically, spiritually and personally.

We strive for excellence for every pupil, nurturing the whole person so they grow into resilient learners, compassionate friends and active stewards of our common home. Our children are encouraged to use their gifts to contribute positively to society, whatever their age, and to recognise their responsibility to care for others and the world around them. St Gilbert’s is a community where faith is lived, talents are celebrated and every child is supported to become the very best version of themselves.

Welcome to our school!
