Week 7 (Four Operations)

Last week we reviewed our learning from our two-week isolation and addressed any misconceptions and difficulties, particularly with the multiplication area model.

 

This week we will continue with our Four Operations topic: moving on to more advanced multiplication (4-digit by 2-digit) and then short and long division.

 

These calculation topics are extremely important skills to learn and will be used throughout Year 6 and beyond: I still use these skills today!
