Safeguarding Policies and Guidance
Our safeguarding practices are guided by:

Local Authority safeguarding guidance
Staff Training and Procedures
All staff and volunteers receive regular safeguarding training to ensure they are confident in:
Recognising signs of abuse and neglect
Following reporting procedures within school
Working with external agencies when required
Training is delivered both by the school and the Local Authority, and is updated regularly to reflect the latest guidance.
Safe Recruitment
We follow strict recruitment and vetting procedures for all staff and volunteers, including:
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks
References and safer recruitment training
This ensures that only suitable adults work with our children.
Child-Focused Approach
We encourage pupils to speak up and share any concerns. Every child is listened to and supported in line with their individual needs.
Parental Guidance
Safeguarding works best when families and schools work together. If you have concerns about your child or any other child, please contact our DSL team.
