  • Key Stage 2 Poetry Recitals

    Sat 22 Jun 2019
The Key Stage 2 Poetry Recital gave the children an opportunity to showcase their oral speaking skills. The class poems were excellent but Year 3 managed to claim the ‘best class poem’ title. The finalists from each class were fabulous. Some of the children performed poems they had written themselves. Well done to all the juniors for learning the poems!
  • Pentecost Celebrations

    Mon 10 Jun 2019

What a lovely time we have had celebrating The Feast of Pentecost this afternoon! The older children joined the younger children to help them with crafts. We could certainly see The Gifts of the Holy Spirit at work: love, kindness, peace, joy, goodness and patience. Well done children!

  • House Team Colours Day

    Fri 24 May 2019
House Team Colours Day was such good fun. We started with an assembly, sitting with all our team-mates. After the weekly awards, the first half-term house team winner was announced. It was St. George, almost one hundred points ahead of the other three teams but the scores were all excellent! Following the assembly, Key Stage 2 played rounders in their teams. This was great fun. After lunch KS1 had some team races. The winning team then had the field to themselves to celebrate their win. It was lovely to see children of all ages mixing together so well. The older children were fantastic with the Infant and Nursery children. Thank you to all our parents and carers for finding the right colours and well done to everyone for earning all those house points.
  • Crowning Mary

    Sun 12 May 2019

Reception presented a really beautiful assembly on Friday. They told us about Mary, the Mother of Jesus and then every child in the school came forward with flowers brought from home. The assembly finished with the youngest child in the class crowning Mary. The flowers are now around the statue of Mary in the entrance to school and in the prayer garden.

  • Holy Week Assemblies

    Thu 18 Apr 2019

Every class in the school has taken part in the Easter assemblies this week. Starting with Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem we have followed the journey of Jesus through The Last Supper, The Garden of Gethsemane, The Trial and The Crucifixion. Parents and carers have been crammed into the hall to watch and share our reflections during this special week. We are very grateful for the fantastic support. It means so much to us and the children.
